Toronto Mayor: 'Forever Sorry', but Won't Quit

Hours after he finally admitted to reporters that he had, in fact, smoked crack, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford went before the cameras for another public statement. Would he step down, as the city council and all the city's newspapers would like? Not so much. But he is very sorry. “I embarrassed everyone in this city and I will be forever sorry,” said Ford, who was on the verge of tears, reports the National Post. But as for resigning, he said he'll let the voters decide his fate in next October's election.
