Just when you thought Princess Bride on Broadway would be the best entertainment news you'd hear all week, this happens: Paramount is working on a TV pilot based on the Patrick Swayze classic, Ghost, Variety reports. The 1990 movie was, for those of you who don't have the pottery scene forever burned in your memory, about a murdered man-turned-ghost (played by Swayze) trying to figure out who killed him and keep his girlfriend (Demi Moore) safe, all with the help of a psychic (Whoopi Goldberg). There's no network yet, but the writers have worked on Fringe and other supernatural-themed projects, including I Am Legend and Paranormal Activity. (More entertainment stories.)
