Chris Brown didn't voluntarily leave anger management rehab this week, he was chucked out for being too angry, it emerged at a probation hearing in Los Angeles yesterday. The singer, who voluntarily checked himself into the Malibu facility after last month's assault arrest in Washington, DC, was ordered to leave after he threw a rock at his mother's car, smashing a window, according to a probation report obtained by TMZ. She was at the facility for a family session and Brown was infuriated by her suggestion that he stay there for extended treatment.
The judge in Los Angeles—where Brown is still on probation for beating up then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009—ordered the singer to spend 90 days in a live-in anger management rehab program at a court-approved facility, reports the Los Angeles Times. During the 90 days, he will be required to complete three days of community service every week and to submit to drug tests. "There is much concern with the probationer's new arrest and his violent outburst that resulted in his discharge from a treatment facility," the probation report states. Brown will be allowed to travel to Washington, DC, for legal proceedings relating to the new assault charge. (More Chris Brown stories.)
