Man Sues to Take Pregnant Wife Off Life Support

Erick Munoz, whose pregnant wife is brain-dead but being kept on life support against her and her family's wishes, is suing John Peter Smith Hospital in Texas. The lawsuit asks that a judge order the Fort Worth facility to remove life support for Marlise Munoz; the hospital has refused to do so because, it says, a state law bars it from denying life-saving treatment to pregnant patients.
