Next Up for Zimmerman: Celebrity Boxing

The inevitable has happened: George Zimmerman has agreed to participate in a Celebrity Boxing match. Zimmerman tells Radar he started doing "boxing-type training" before shooting Trayvon Martin (which he calls "the incident"), and that the celebrity match gives him "an opportunity and motivation to get back in shape and continue with my weight loss goals and also be able to help a charity out." He won't say whether he's making any money off the match, but some of the proceeds will go to an animal rescue charity—which he refused to name because he doesn't want the organization to "get bombarded with negativity."

The match will air March 1, online and on Pay Per View, but Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman is still looking for an opponent to box Zimmerman. "I don't have a preference ... Hopefully someone that won’t hurt me too bad!" Zimmerman says. "If I had my top three I’d say Papa Smurf, the Easter Bunny, and maybe the Michelin Man." TMZ helpfully adds that Zimmerman will "fight ANYONE ... even black people." Interested? Email fightgeorge@hotmail.com. Seriously. (More George Zimmerman stories.)
