Women Dump Rats in Rival's Home

This gives a whole new meaning to the term "rat pack": A woman in her 20s—along with her mother and a group of as many as nine other women—descended on the Philadelphia home of a romantic rival on Wednesday night, armed with baseball bats and a box of white rats, and wreaked havoc, police say. The dispute over a boyfriend apparently started on Instagram, WPVI reports.

Their invasion involved the smashing of windows and the front door and ended with the women dumping the rats in the home of the 30-year-old, who was at home at the time and was allegedly punched. The AP reports her purse was also stolen. A family member of the homeowner was taken to the hospital after suffering a heart problem during the incident. Police are now searching for the suspects.
