Kansas City drivers may be able to relax a bit: Police have arrested a suspect in a string of highway shootings over the last several weeks, reports the Kansas City Star. Authorities have yet to identify the male suspect or speculate about a motive, but they were searching a residence this evening. CNN puts the number of shootings on major highways and roads around the city at about 20 between March 8 and April 6.
Another shooting was reported today—passengers in a minivan say someone shot out a window while they were at a red light—but police haven't said whether they think it's linked to the earlier shootings. Three people have been injured by bullets during the shooting spree, but all survived. Police say they've received more than 100 tips and were offering $10,000 if one led to an arrest.
