Harry Potter fans, rejoice: JK Rowling has published a story on her Pottermore website set years after the teen wizard (spoiler alert) finally defeated Voldemort. You'll need a login to read it, BuzzFeed notes (and it was so popular it temporarily crashed the site, Mashable adds, though everything appears to be working now), or you can just read Business Insider's quick rundown of the 1,500-word story, which is written in the style of a gossip column by Potter character Rita Skeeter.
It reveals, among other things, that Harry is now in his mid-30s and a famous auror (meaning he fights bad wizards), his wife Ginny is covering the Quidditch World Cup, Ron Weasley was also an auror but now co-manages his twin brothers' joke store, and Hermione Granger is the deputy head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement (and has two kids, Gawker notes; Harry and Ginny also have at least two sons). Itching for more? Sucks to be you: Rowling has "no plans" to write any other stories about the older Harry, her spokesperson tells The Bookseller. (More Harry Potter stories.)
