Wife Dies After Accusing Hubby of Gay Rendezvous
Michael Doster.   (Manatee County Sheriff)

Michael Doster is suspected of killing his wife after a gay-sex rendezvous at a Florida nude beach—but so far no witnesses have stepped forward in the case, Gawker reports. According to an affidavit, Doster's wife Pamela caught him giving a man oral sex last weekend at a nude beach on Anna Maria Island. Inebriated, they argued on his jet ski about it: "Obviously, that can lead to a misunderstanding between a husband and a wife," an official said about her gay-sex accusation, WTSP reports. Allegedly, he threw her off four times until she hit her head and refused to re-board.

Deputies found her bruised and naked on a sandbar that night and hospitalized her, and Doster, 50, was bonded out on a domestic battery charge, NBC News reports. Then on Wednesday, she died. "This takes our case to a different level," said a sheriff's spokesman. "We need to know exactly what happened. We can say that Michael Doster is a suspect." In the affidavit, Doster claimed he couldn't see her in the dark and called 911—but when called by a WTSP reporter for details, he only laughed and refused to say anything about the case.
