Anyone who's ever dreamed about being a professional clown (and who hasn't?) will be psyched to hear that a new comedy series created by Zach Galifianakis, Louis CK, and Portlandia director Jonathan Krisel has been ordered by FX, according to TVLine. Baskets will star Galifianakis in the title role of Chip Baskets, a California man who, "in a world constrained by corporate interests and the homogenization of society … dares to follow his dream of becoming a professional clown," according to the FX description. The first season will feature 10 episodes of the single-camera comedy and is scheduled to premiere in 2016. FX's president for original programming gushes about the Hangover star's performance, calling him "hilarious/unique/riveting/fascinating." (More Zach Galifianakis stories.)
