Ever feel like today's Senate scandals are missing a little je ne sais quoi? Get ready to rock it like it's 2007 in a men's bathroom stall in the Minneapolis airport, because Larry Craig and his wide stance are back on the scene. As Roll Call reports, a federal judge fined the Idaho Republican $242,535 yesterday over the very bathroom sex sting that ultimately, and laboriously, led to his political downfall. The former senator must repay $197,533 in campaign funds that he used to pay legal fees in a failed effort to withdraw his initial guilty plea; he's also being fined $45,000 for illegally using the funds in violation of FEC rules. (When last we saw Craig, he was spouting off about Senate "perks" to John Oliver.)
