Rurik Jutting is out of the office—the former Bank of America employee was arrested in Hong Kong Saturday on suspicion of the "American Psycho-style" murders of two women—and his work email auto-reply is pretty creepy. As Bloomberg reports, the auto-reply states that Jutting is out of the office "indefinitely" and suggests contacting someone who's not "an insane psychopath." It also reads, "For escalation please contact God, though suspect the devil will have custody. [Last line only really worked if I had followed through..]" The BBC reports that Jutting had resigned from his job a week ago, and Bloomberg notes it's unclear if Jutting wrote the automated message himself. The 29-year-old appeared in court today and was charged with the Oct. 27 murder of Sumarti Ningsih and an unknown second woman on Saturday, the Guardian reports.

The Mirror refers to both victims as prostitutes and says that police are investigating 2,000 photos—some of them may allegedly show the dead victims—on Jutting's phone; authorities will also look into the possibility of other victims, the Telegraph reports. The Mirror also reports that the second victim went by the name of Jesse Lorena in the city's red light district. As for Jutting—whose apartment also allegedly held cocaine and sex toys—he was educated at an independent boys school in England before going on to study at Cambridge University and then embarking on a career as a banker, in which he reportedly drew a six-figure salary. His lawyer told the court today that Jutting has been cooperating and may be willing to take part in a video reconstruction at the crime scene. Click for more graphic details on the killings.
