The Chicago Bulls got 37 points from Ben Gordon, scored at least 30 points in each quarter, and still had to hold on for a 135-121 win over the Denver Nuggets tonight, reports the Associated Press. Chicago led by 23 midway into the third quarter, but Denver went on a run and cut the lead to 108-102 four minutes into the fourth quarter.

The Bulls answered with a 14-3 run, which included 10 points by Gordon, and that finally finished Denver. J.R. Smith led the comeback for Denver with back-to-back 3 pointers for six of his career-high 43. The Bulls' season-high point total was full of stars: besides Gordon, Andres Nocioni (21 points), Tyrus Thomas (18) and Joakim Noah (14) all had big games. (More NBA stories.)
