Madonna: Reporting Rape 'Not Worth It' for Me

During the first year a young Madonna lived in New York, she was raped, and she opened up about it during an interview with Howard Stern yesterday, E! reports. She needed money for a payphone, and a man she asked for change convinced her to make her call from his apartment—then raped her. But she never reported it, she said: "You've already been violated. It's just not worth it. It's too much humiliation."

She also revealed that she once dated Tupac Shakur. She was dating the rapper when she made an F-bomb-filled appearance on David Letterman's show in 1994, she explained, and Shakur "got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangsta." The news of their relationship surprised Stern, though Madonna said she thought it was public knowledge.
