Ill-advised twerking and stripping off one's clothes factor into the weirdest crime stories of the week:

• China: No More Funeral Strippers: Something Chinese officials really shouldn't have to come out and say is, "Please stop having stripteases at funerals," but that's exactly what the Ministry of Culture has declared. Those responsible for vulgar acts will be punished, it said, and some people apparently already have been.
• Russia Jails 3 Over 'Erotic, Sexual Twerk Dance': Note to Miley: No twerking in Russia, where three women were jailed for performing what prosecutors call an "erotic and sexual twerk dance" in front of a World War II memorial. "This incident of disrespect for the memory of war history is unacceptable," prosecutors in Novorossiysk said, and punishments were doled out.

• Alleged Pizza Thieves Try to Sell Stolen Pizza to Cops: Police in Gambell, Alaska, say they were looking into who stole 80 frozen pizzas from a local store when they got a phone call from the alleged thieves asking if they (the cops) wanted to buy some ... frozen pizza. Only 75 of the original 80 pies were recovered; the men confessed what they did with the missing five.
• Cops: Woman Set Car Afire After Being Denied Cigarette: A man who stopped for gas at a Jerusalem gas station this week saw his day go downhill in a flash when cops say a woman peeved that he didn't give her a cigarette set his car on fire. Security footage shows the woman walking up to the guy as he fills his tank; she appears to say something to him, then momentarily walks away. But she's back in a couple of seconds—with something in her hand.
• Motor Homes Don't Make Good Getaway Cars: We can hear the Steppenwolf playing now. Eligah Christian was being sought on a $100,000 warrant on charges of scheming to defraud plus 36 other counts when he was spotted behind the wheel of an RV near Wasilla by Alaska State Troopers. Two things of note: He didn't get away, and he did something that got him in even more trouble.
