All six Baltimore police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray are now in custody. "No one is above the law in our city," said Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake after the charges were announced, reports AP. The defendants are officers Caesar Goodson Jr., William Porter, Edward Nero, Garrett Miller, Sgt. Alicia White, and Lt. Brian W. Rice. Goodson, who was driving the van transporting Gray, faces up to 63 years in prison on charges including second-degree murder. Rice faces up 30 years, and the others up to 20 years on lesser charges, reports the Baltimore Sun. (More Baltimore stories.)
