The search for an Arizona couple who vanished on their way to work 10 days ago may have reached a grim end. Investigators say they may have found the bodies of Michael and Tina Careccia during a "search of the property on West Papago Road," near where the couple lived, the Arizona Republic reports. "We have one male suspect in custody who lives at the property being searched," says a rep for Pinal County Sheriff's investigators. "Family members of the Carrecias have just been notified of the recovery and arrest." Police earlier said they were "very confident" that foul play was involved.

"We knew there was foul play from the get go. There's no reason why they wouldn't come home or be missing or not contact us," Michael Careccia's brother-in-law told reporters yesterday, per KPHO. Michael, 44, and Tina, 42, who were married last year and have five children from previous relationships, were last seen on June 22, and the property searchers have descended on is less than a mile from where their car was found covered in dirt. A private investigator tells the Republic that the area is full of old cars and buildings, making it a "great place to hide stuff." (More Arizona stories.)
