Complain to meteorologists that it never rains when they say it will, and they'll brush it off. But tell a meteorologist her pregnant stomach looks like "sausage in casing," and you may just start a movement. Support is pouring in from all over the country after CBS 3 Philadelphia meteorologist and mom-to-be Katie Fehlinger took to Facebook Wednesday with "a message for the haters" insulting her appearance on social media, People reports. According to Yahoo Parenting, Fehlinger, who is pregnant with twin girls, has continued to report the weather throughout her pregnancy, leading to nasty online comments such as, "Sticking your pregnant abdomen out like that is disgusting." Fehlinger tells Yahoo she tried to ignore the comments, but it got harder as they got worse, specifically the sausage comment.

"That one upset me the most," she says. "It really hurt my feelings." That's when a "switch flipped" and she realized the comments weren't just about her, they were targeting all pregnant women. In her Facebook post, Fehlinger tells all moms they are beautiful. "What women go through to bring their precious children into the world is simply put, AMAZING," she writes. By the time of this article, Fehlinger's post had received more than 52,000 likes and 4,000 shares. What's more, People reports other pregnant moms are posting their own photos online with the hashtag #CBS3 to support Fehlinger. In a followup Facebook post, Fehlinger thanks her supporters for "proving that positivity outweighs the negative." (A woman cruelly nicknamed the "world's ugliest woman" online turns the tables.)
