Among the kids modeling for Gap today at a fashion show in Miami will be 9-year-old Kayla Kosmalski, and Kayla is making headlines because she's got Down syndrome. She's actually one of four kids in the show with a disability of some kind, part of a campaign called Changing the Face of Beauty to get big-name brands to widen their scope, reports People. "Yes, Kayla has Down syndrome, but she’s smart and funny and sassy like all other kids," her mom tells the Mighty. They were flying in from Delaware for today's show, which will feature Ellen DeGeneres' line of kids' clothes. (More uplifting news stories.)
