Kim Kardashian is back on the FDA's good side. After the agency slapped drugmaker Duchesnay over Kardashian's now-deleted Instagram post about morning sickness pill Diclegis, noting that the reality star didn't issue any of the small print like risk information in her post, Kardashian made a follow-up post helpfully hashtagged #CorrectiveAd yesterday, Gizmodo reports.
"I guess you saw the attention my last #morningsickness post received," the post begins. "The FDA has told Duchesnay, Inc., that my last post about Diclegis (doxylamine succinate and pyridoxine HCl) was incomplete because it did not include any risk information or important limitations of use for Diclegis. A link to this information accompanied the post, but this didn't meet FDA requirements. So, I'm re-posting and sharing this important information about Diclegis. For US Residents Only." What followed: 237 words about the safety of the drug. (Click to find out how Kardashian and Kanye West want to help a fan who needs a kidney.)
