Cops: Too Busy for Court, Man Fakes Bomb Threat
Jermaine McCain   (Mercer County Sheriff's Department)

A 36-year-old New Jersey man who was too busy for court last week has even less free time now that he's been arrested for allegedly faking a bomb threat at the courthouse, the Times of Trenton reports. According to police, Jermaine McCaine says he didn't want to go to court Sept. 17 because he "had things to do," so he called in the fake threat. It's unclear why he was supposed to be at court or what better things he had to do instead. Police tracked down McCain Tuesday and arrested him following an alleged high-speed chase in Pennsylvania. He's facing a variety of charges. (More weird crimes stories.)
