The missing 27th diamond ring from a botched jewelry store heist in Ohio was finally found—inside one of the alleged thieves, ABC News reports. Police say 61-year-old Macie Young and 57-year-old Leroy Bridgman robbed the store last week to the tune of more than $86,000 worth of diamond rings but were arrested when they got stuck in the elevator, according to WCPO. ABC reports the duo allegedly tried to hide the rings in the elevator panels, but they were quickly found—all but one.

Upon entering jail, inmates are put through an X-ray machine, WCPO reports. Police say when Young went through, they spotted the 27th ring in her "midsection." "She continued to deny that it was there," a sheriff's spokesperson tells ABC. But the ring was eventually recovered. "We saw it through the scan," one official tells WCPO. "We, of course, then explained to her that she must remove that from her body cavity, and she did." (More weird crimes stories.)
