Trump: I'll Send All Syrian Refugees Back

The candidate has done a U-turn on his refugee policy and now says he'll send them all back to Syria because they could be ISIS militants in disguise, the BBC reports. "I'm putting people on notice that are coming here from Syria as part of this mass migration, that if I win, they're going back," he told a crowd of thousands at an event in New Hampshire Wednesday night, saying that in what "could be one of the great tactical ploys of all time," the refugees could be a "200,000-man army." "They could be ISIS," he said. "They are all men and they are all strong."

A few weeks ago, Trump supported the idea of the US taking more refugees, telling Fox News that "on a humanitarian basis, something does have to be done," the BBC notes. At the Keene, NH, event, he also outlined his tax plan and described Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio's friendship as "political BS," NBC News reports. Bush was also in New Hampshire Wednesday night, where he spoke to a much smaller crowd about the Syria crisis, the Guardian reports. "I think we're duty bound to provide support," he told a Syrian-American woman. "This is normally what we do unbelievably well. We act on our heart, we organize it well, we take care of people."
