After last night's 3-0 loss to Carolina, Chicago has dropped four straight with a mere eleven left to play. It was an easy victory for Carolina, with Cam Ward earning his fourth shutout of the season on 25 saves. The Hurricanes took the lead early, scoring all three of their goals in the first period, two on power plays. "We were chasing them for the rest for the game. Our penalty kill needs to get better," said Chicago forward Patrick Sharp following the game. "The rest of the game was pretty tight. We had our chances," added winger Patrick Kane.
