Has Sarah Palin returned to the national stage? You betcha! The former Alaska governor gave Donald Trump her endorsement at a rally in Ames, Iowa, on Tuesday night, where she asked the enthusiastic audience if they were "ready to make America great again," CNN reports. She went on to praise Trump and his supporters in true Palin style: "You hardworking Iowa families, you farm families and teachers and teamsters and cops and cooks, you rock 'n' rollers and holy rollers," she said. "All of you who work so hard, you full-time moms, you with the hands that rock the cradle. You all make the world go round. And now our cause is one."

Palin slammed establishment GOP candidates who wore "political correctness kind of like a suicide vest" and praised Trump for "going rogue left and right," reports the Des Moines Register. In the endorsement speech—full text can be seen here—she criticized the Obama administration and its "hopey changey stuff" for, among other things, footing the bill for the "squirmishes" of oil-rich nations. "Things are gonna change under President Trump," promised Palin, who appears to be in it for the long haul. "Look back there in the press box," she said early on. "Heads are spinning, media heads are spinning. This is going to be so much fun." The BBC notes that there was a scathing tweet from the Clinton campaign team: "Congrats to the Youtube commenter who wrote your remarks." (Meanwhile, Sarah's son was dealing with domestic violence charges.)
