It turns out a cat missing for more than a year was living the high life inside a pet food warehouse, NBC News reports. "I can't believe he's so porky," the cat's owner, Tanya Irons, told the BBC after being reunited with Clive this week. Clive went missing from his home in England in October 2014, and Irons assumed he moved in with another family who was feeding him. He sorta did.
Something had been setting off alarms during the night at the Kennelgate Pet Superstores warehouse about two miles from Irons' home. After figuring out the culprit was a cat, it took workers about a week to catch Clive. "We think he couldn't have ended up in a better place what with all the free pet food he could dream of, not forgetting the odd warehouse mouse," a Kennelgate press release states.
