The Boston Celtics accomplished something last night that no team in the NBA has done in six seasons: complete a three-game sweep in Texas. The Celtics finished off the rare feat with a 94-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks, reports the Associated Press. Boston gave San Antonio its first loss in six weeks and ended Houston's 22-game win streak before beating the Mavs.

Ray Allen came back from a three-game injury absence to hit a 3-pointer with 31.7 seconds left for the win. Allen, who has a bum ankle, scored 21 points in 31 minutes. Paul Pierce had 22 points and 13 rebounds for Boston, which has won 14 of 15. Dallas fell to 0-7 against winning teams since trading for All-Star point guard Jason Kidd. (More NBA stories.)
