(AP Photo/Mark Avery) No. 1 Roger Federer was involved in a semifinal match in the Pacific Life Open today that lasted barely more than an hour. That was no surprise. What was shocking was that it was Federer who lost: 6-3, 6-2 to No. 98 Mardy Fish. The defeat at Indian Wells put an end to the world top-ranked player's streak of 41 straight wins over Americans, reports the Los Angeles Times. "This wasn't obviously Roger's best day, but hopefully I had a little something to do with that," Fish said. He will play No. 3 Novak Djokovic of Serbia in the finals tomorrow. Fish hit 26 winners compared to 14 for Federer, and jumped out 3-0 in the first set and 3-1 in the second. Fish had won one set from Federer in five previous matches.
