Joe Johnson scored 34 points and Mike Bibby had 20 as the Atlanta Hawks beat the Orlando Magic 98-90 last night, reports the Orlando Sentinel. The Magic had a chance to catch the Hawks late when Bibby missed a shot with the Hawks up 93-90. Atlanta fought for the offensive rebound, however, and Bibby made a free throw to seal the win. In other NBA action:

  • The Philadelphia 76ers won their 17th game in the last 22 with a 91-87 win over the New Jersey Nets. Andre Iguodala scored 19 of his 28 points in the second half.
  • The Charlotte Bobcats ended a five-game losing streak with a 94-82 win over the Miami Heat. Gerald Wallace scored 26 points and Jason Richardson had 24 for Charlotte.
