At Least 22 Dead in Head-On Train Crash

Authorities in southern Italy say at least 22 people are dead and more than 40 others injured after two trains collided in Puglia on Tuesday. Italian news reports say that two trains—each with four cars—collided head-on near the town of Andria on a line with just a single track, reports the AP. Rescue workers were pulling victims from the rubble, including a small child who was airlifted to a hospital, reports the BBC.
