The things you'll learn thanks to this week's batch of weird crimes: There is such a thing as a Snuggle Mobile, and it's been stolen.

  • Cops Accused of Running Down Groundhog With Golf Cart: Two police officers in upstate New York are being investigated over allegations that they used a golf cart to run down and run over a golf course groundhog. The incident took place during a union event for the Rensselaer City Police Department at the Frear Park golf course in Troy. Officer Tyler Sammon allegedly ran over the groundhog. Officer Mike Spath was the passenger. Both have been placed on paid leave. Before driving over the animal, Sammon did something else to the animal, witnesses say.
  • Meth Lab Found Beneath Walmart Parking Lot: Police officers stumbled upon a meth lab in an unlikely spot Monday: a sewer beneath a Walmart parking lot in a Buffalo suburb. Authorities say officers discovered the lab, which is believed to have still been active, on a routine patrol in Amherst. Here's what officials in hazmat suits eventually removed from the sewer, which was tall enough to stand up in.

  • Arson 101: Guy Shows How Not to Light a Fire: Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug, and sometimes you're the guy trying to burn a building down who sets fire to a little more than you intended. Such was the plight of a would-be arsonist intending to burn down a Kentucky barbershop when his attempt to use a Molotov cocktail went awry, police say. How do they know this? Well, a surveillance camera just happened to record the whole thing.
  • Someone Stole a Professional Snuggler's Snuggle Mobile: Some jerk—very possibly someone who didn't receive enough affection—stole the Snuggle Mobile this week in Portland, Oregon. The bright orange Snuggle Mobile is owned by professional snuggler Shanya Luther. Professional snugglers "provide platonic touch to those seeking physical human connection," and Luther says the Snuggle Mobile contained nearly $5,000 worth of mats, pillows, and other "snuggle materials." Here's how she reacted to the theft.
  • Mom, Son Will Defend Incestuous Romance in Court: A New Mexico courtroom will be the scene of a trial sure to make many uncomfortable next month: A 36-year-old mother and her 19-year-old son have been charged with incest and face three years in jail. But Monica Mares and Caleb Peterson are anything but ashamed: In fact, they say they're madly in love and hope their trial raises awareness of something called Genetic Sexual Attraction.
