Running a marathon: a difficult feat. Running one while juggling three balls (and not dropping a single one, at any time during the run): no classification comes to mind. But Toronto's Michal Kapral, who refers to himself as a "joggler," managed to pull off exactly that at Sunday's Chicago Marathon, NPR reports, completing the course in a fairly fast 2 hours, 55 minutes (giving him 6:40-a-mile boasting rights). And although the 44-year-old didn't beat his Guinness World Record for time—he completed a course in 2007 in 2 hours, 50 minutes while juggling—this was the first marathon he completed without dropping a ball. "I've never felt so much stress in my life," he says about how he felt as he joggled closer to the finish line.

Kapral's handsy hobby began when he was 11 and seeking a world record to beat. He was on his school's cross-country team and had just learned to juggle, so merging the two seemed a natural choice. Since then, he's run 33 marathons, per his Blogging Joggler blog, and he breaks down how it feels to accomplish this task at each point in the race, from a "kind of zen feeling" at the beginning to the "absolute agony" of the final miles as his arms give out. Kapral may have already come down off Sunday's runner's high: In a tweet from Wednesday, he noted: "Three days ago: Ran 26.2 miles while juggling and never dropped a ball. Today: Dropped my phone and cracked it." Read his blog entry describing his Sunday run, including how he kept people from bumping into him. (This man ran 401 marathons to help LGBT kids.)
