Some Ohio parents say they want to know how a banner recalling the country's brutal treatment of Native Americans showed up at a high school football game, the AP reports. According to WHIO and WCMH, some Greenfield-McClain High School cheerleaders held up the questionable banner for a Friday night game against the Hillsboro High Indians. The banner read: "Hey Indians, Get Ready for a Trail of Tears Part 2." The reference was to the forced relocation of Indians in the 19th century. Thousands died of starvation, illness, or exposure. The school posted an apology on Facebook, but it was deleted after parents began asking about it and posting questions and comments. Hillsboro won the game 43-40. (More high school football stories.)
