Playboy Model Pleads Not Guilty in Nude Body-Shaming Case
Dani Mathers   (Glenn Francis)

The list of things the 2015 Playboy Playmate of the Year can't unsee still includes jail time, but Dani Mather pleaded not guilty on Monday to misdemeanor charges of invasion of privacy in a California court. Mather—who caused an internet tempest in a teapot when she allegedly posted a nude photo of a 70-year-old woman in her gym's shower captioned "If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either"—didn't appear in court, but "very much regrets what happened," her lawyer said outside the court. "She apologized for her behavior and we’re looking forward to resolving this case in a very fair manner." She faces a $1,000 fine and six months in jail if convicted, reports MyNewsLA; she's already been banned for life from LA Fitness gyms. Her next court date is Dec. 21. (More fat-shaming stories.)
