Ivanka Trump isn't the only one taking a step away from her company: Nordstrom Inc. says it's going to stop selling the Ivanka Trump line of products this season, a move it says is the result of poor sales, not controversy over Trump administration policies, Bloomberg reports. The chain says it cuts around 10% of the thousands of lines it carries each year based on sales, and Ivanka's line of clothing and accessories didn't meet the mark this time around. "In this case, based on the brand's performance, we've decided not to buy it for this season," Nordstrom said in a statement. The move comes amid the "Grab Your Wallet" campaign, which urges consumers to boycott Donald and Ivanka Trump products.

"I am absolutely thrilled, and I know the vast majority of Grab Your Wallet participants will be as well," says Shannon Coulter, a co-founder of Grab Your Wallet, per the Seattle Times. Co-President Pete Nordstrom emailed employees in November about the Ivanka controversy. "This is a sharply divisive subject," he wrote. "No matter what we do, we are going to end up disappointing some of our customers. Every single brand we offer is evaluated on their results—if people don't buy it, we won't sell it." The AP notes that Ivanka, whose company promoted a $10,000 bracelet after she wore it on 60 Minutes, announced in January that she would be taking a leave of absence from her company and the Trump Organization.
