Sure, love what you do—but the pay and benefits don't hurt, either. Glassdoor checked out companies that offer unusual perks beyond unlimited vacation time and casual Fridays, and it found a bunch that have entered "legendary status" for benefits that offer "ingenuity, uniqueness, or life-changing potential." Here, seven of the perks (and the companies that offer them) to get your envy juices flowing:

  1. Four months of paid parental leave for all part-time and full-time workers with one year or more of tenure (Ikea)
  2. Pet insurance (Scripps Health)
  3. Two-day global soccer tournament (Bain & Company)
  4. Coverage for gender reassignment surgery (Goldman Sachs)
  5. Up to 40 hours of paid time off annually to volunteer (Timberland)
  6. "StayFit" program offering $800 per year to pay for gym memberships/fitness programs (Microsoft)
  7. Sabbatical programs, including a three- to six-month sabbatical for personal or professional reasons at 40% pay (Deloitte)
Check out the full list for more perks you'll wish your company had. (Ten companies with the best reputations.)
