There's taking one for the team, and then there's Stephen Piscotty's adventures while scoring a run Tuesday for his St. Louis Cardinals. As a video at Belly Up Betting shows, he got beaned by the ball three separate times in the effort. First, he got hit by a pitch to reach base. Then he stole second but got hit by the catcher's attempt to pick him off. Finally, he got hit in the head by the ball, hard, while sliding into home on a subsequent base hit. The good news: No signs of a concussion, reports the St. Louis Dispatch. (More baseball stories.)
