Richard Simmons' rep has said the fitness personality is A-OK, as has the LAPD, but now, for the first time in three years, Simmons himself is speaking out, exclusively to People. "Aren't you sick of hearing and reading about me?! LOL," he said in a statement. Simmons, who's been missing from public view since February 2014, had to head to the hospital Monday after he suffered a bad case of "severe indigestion," his rep told ABC News. Simmons took the opportunity to offer up some words, as well as a 2014 photo of himself, to his fans, insisting he's not "missing" and that he's hoping to be well enough to head home in "a couple of days. "Just knowing you care has already made me feel better," he says. "Hope to see you again soon!" (More Richard Simmons stories.)
