With North Korea again topic No. 1 in the news, Jimmy Kimmel did one of his man-in-the-street stunts asking Americans to locate the country on a map. The results were, literally, all over the map. Of course, these get edited to provide the worst answers, notes Mashable, but the results are still pretty funny and/or scary. Watch the video here. Meanwhile, President Trump's "fire and fury" threat to Pyongyang was also on late-night hosts' minds:
- Kimmel: "As you can see, the vacation is really relaxing him," he said, per Mediaite. "Listen, we’re sorry we made fun of you. Go back to golfing before you kill all of us!"
- Stephen Colbert: "I don’t want to be alarmist, but we’re all gonna die," he said. “Thankfully, faced with the greatest challenge of his presidency, Donald Trump stepped up and in a moment of great statesmanship de-escalated the rhetoric and brought calm to our worried nation." Pause. "I’m just kidding." To Trump, he added, while taking cover, "Shut up! OK? You’ll get us all killed. And I just started the Handmaid’s Tale!" Here is the video.
