Whether you consider it brave or foolish, it's tough not to consider it incredible. NBC News has video of a driver who pulled over on California's Highway 1 near La Conchita to save a wild rabbit from the blazing wildfire that's painting the backdrop orange. As the creature enters the burning brush, the unidentified man appears distraught, clutching his head and bouncing up and down. He inches forward, apparently trying to coax the rabbit toward him. It works, and the video ends with him cradling the small animal—and with the Los Angeles Times declaring, "He has a lot of fans this morning." (Read more California wildfires stories.)
