Read on for the top 10, all of which fell into the top 1% of small cities in America:

  1. Leawood, Kan. (No. 1 in "Affordability")
  2. Carmel, Ind.
  3. Princeton, NJ (No. 1 in "Economic Health")
  4. Brentwood, Tenn.
  5. Milton, Mass.
  6. Needham, Mass.
  7. Los Altos, Calif.
  8. Littleton, Colo.
