Amazon-haters apparently broke into a building the company owns Saturday and left their mark: the word "Scamazon" written in big orange letters. Police say they spotted the graffiti written on floor-to-ceiling windows facing out over the East River in Long Island City, Queens, at about 5pm and had it removed, the New York Post reports. Amazon plans to set up a headquarters in the neighborhood with the aid of $2.8 billion in tax grants. The new building will force about 1,000 New York City public school workers to be relocated, Newsweek notes. Protesters opposing the move have already posted signs on social media reading, you guessed it, "Scamazon." (Amazon's two winning cities will get 25,000 jobs each.)
