"Everyone" has weighed in, and they've told Digg what the best songs of 2018 are. The site confesses it didn't use a "super fancy algorithm" to figure out what tunes were resonating with the people at large. Instead, a "human Digg Editor" pored over a spreadsheet of other "best of 2018" song lists, assigned a points system to the top choices, then winnowed things down to come up with Digg's own list. The No. 1 song for 2018: Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next," which Vulture calls "the anthem 2018 deserves." Read on for the rest:
- "Thank U, Next," Ariana Grande
- "Love It If We Made It," The 1975
- "I Like It," Cardi B
- "This Is America," Childish Gambino
- "Shallow," Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper
- "Make Me Feel," Janelle Monae
