Yet another twist in the Bezos-Sanchez saga: Michael Sanchez, brother of Lauren Sanchez, has hinted that he leaked explicit texts between his sister and Jeff Bezos to the National Enquirer—but not explicit photos. He tells Vanity Fair that he did not supply the "d--- pics" the tabloid's parent company allegedly tried to blackmail Bezos with. He says his sister "likely shared them with multiple girlfriends" because she "got a kick" out of it—and she also tried to show them to him. But "I'm not saying I didn’t do something," Sanchez says. "Until I go under oath, what I can tell you now is that ever since April 20, when I met Jeff, my only goal has been to protect Jeff and Lauren."
Sanchez claims he advised the couple over the last year as they pondered their future and worried about their affair being exposed. "The truth will come out about my motivations and how much I believe in Jeff and Lauren’s love," he says. "It’s a legendary romance that will blow your mind as to just how in love they are." Sanchez, who has been feuding with Bezos security chief Gavin de Becker, is a Trump supporter, but he says claims the leak was politically motivated are merely an effort to distract from the fact that de Becker and his team failed to keep the affair secret. He says de Becker has been trying to break the couple up, though a source tells People that the romance is still going strong. (The Amazon CEO launched a private investigation of the leak earlier this month.)
