Five family members are dead in Pennsylvania, and a mother and daughter stand accused of their murders. WPVI reports the bodies were discovered during a welfare check Monday afternoon after no one had seen anyone who lived in the Morrisville apartment for a few days. Shana Decree, 45, and her daughter Dominique Decree, 19, were found inside and taken to the hospital; one of the women was reportedly having seizures and the other seemed dazed. There were also five bodies: those of Shana Decree's children, Naa'Irah Smith, 25, and Damon Decree Jr., 13; her sister, Jamilla Campbell, 42; and Campbell's 9-year-old twin girls, Imani and Erika Allen. Campbell and her children lived in Trenton, NJ. The women face five counts of criminal homicide and one count of conspiracy, reports NBC10.

"The people that committed these atrocious acts are in custody and we’ll make them pay for their crimes," said Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub on Monday. No motive has been given, nor have authorities explained how the victims were killed. LevittownNow.com cites Morrisville's police chief as saying the bodies bore no obvious signs of trauma and firefighters confirmed high levels of hazardous materials weren't present. Meanwhile, investigators are searching for Campbell's 17-year-old son, Joshua, to verify that he is unharmed. He is not considered a suspect. (More murder stories.)
