When Australia's new $50 banknote was unveiled last year, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation predicted readers would not be able to spot all the birds on it. Turns out, there is something more interesting to spot—a typo, even if you need a magnifying glass to see it. See a closeup here, via Triple M. The back of the note features tiny print that includes excerpts of a speech by the nation's first female member of parliament, Edith Cowan, explains the Guardian. Problem is, the word "responsibility" is misspelled: "It is a great responsibilty [sic] to be the only woman here ..." it reads.

The Reserve Bank of Australia, which notes that the $50 bill is the nation's most widely circulated banknote, said the error would be fixed in the next printing run, reports the BBC. However, it took six months for someone to spot the error, and about 46 million of the banknotes are now in circulation. "Like any manufacturing process, errors can occur," says a bank spokesperson, per Australia's ABC. "We have reviewed our processes." (Whoever painted this jet can relate.)
