Just before Friday turned into Saturday, Twitter gained a new account. It appears OJ Simpson can now be counted among those who tweet, and his very first (and so far only) post has already raised eyebrows. Simpson posted a short video announcing his entry online, and it included what Inquisitr calls a "cryptic message." "Coming soon to Twitter, you'll get to read all my thoughts and opinions on just about everything," Simpson cheerfully tells his viewing audience, almost exactly 25 years to the day his ex-wife, Nicole Brown-Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman were murdered. "It should be a lot of fun. I got a little getting even to do."

OJ's announcement definitely caught the internet's attention, leading to "The Juice Is Loose" trend on Twitter. As Simpson noted in his video, there are "a lot of fake OJ accounts out there," and one popped up right after OJ's real one did. The Mirror notes that the parody account apparently changed the lower-case "L" in OJ's handle to an upper-case "I"—so to most, the handle looked exactly the same; neither one had the blue
"verified" check mark as of early Saturday morning—then made OJ's video its pinned tweet and sent out such posts as "I killed her" and "Lets link @rkelly." (OJ says he's doing just fine in his current life in Vegas.)
