Dog the Bounty Hunter is asking people to "say your prayers" after his wife was placed in a medically-induced coma, People reports. Beth Chapman, wife of the TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman, was hospitalized Saturday in Hawaii amid her fight against cancer. "Please say your prayers for Beth right now thank you love you," he tweeted Saturday. Details are scant, but Beth was diagnosed in September 2017 with stage II throat cancer that appeared to be gone after two months, but returned in 2018. On Mother's Day, Beth told fellow members at the Source Church in Bradenton, Fla., that her cancer battle had been "the ultimate test of faith."

"I don't go to God and go, 'Why did I get cancer?'" she said. "He'll roll his eyes at me again, because I know why—because this is the ultimate test of faith. It is the evidence of things hoped for and it is the substance of things not known." She also suggested that she had stopped chemotherapy, calling it "not my bag, people." The Chapmans are known for their A&E show Dog the Bounty Hunter, which features their bounty hunting and bail bonds business in Hawaii, per Hawaii News Now. (More cancer stories.)
