More details are trickling out on the 22-year-old man suspected of killing 21-year-old Ole Miss student Alexandria "Ally" Kostial. Tennessee police say Brandon Theesfeld, originally from Texas, was spotted and detained at a gas station in Memphis and was subsequently brought back to Mississippi, where he was arrested, charged with murder (with more charges possible), and booked into the Lafayette County Jail without bond, per NBC News. A rep from Ole Miss says Theesfeld is a student in the School of Business Administration, like Kostial, and has been suspended. Per FOX 13, Theesfeld had been on the radar of police, who found him at the Tennessee gas station by tracking his cellphone and credit card activity.

Law enforcement sources say when Theesfeld was detained by police, they noticed his clothes looked bloody and found a weapon in his Dodge Ram pickup. Police records out of Oxford, Miss., show Theesfeld had been arrested two years ago for public intoxication and having a fake ID. Heavy.com notes he and Kostial followed each other on social media, but other than that, no details have yet emerged on what their relationship was or how they knew each other. Heavy.com adds that, per Theesfeld's Facebook page, one of his sisters was in the same Ole Miss sorority as Kostial. Someone identifying themself as a friend of Kostial wrote on Twitter, "He harassed her for years, took advantage of her for years," along with the hashtag #JusticeforAlly. "I know my son is innocent," Theesfeld's father says in a statement to the Daily Beast. (More murder suspect stories.)
