Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell isn't tucked away in a Massachusetts mansion after all. Instead, the New York Post says it found the woman accused in lawsuits of aiding Epstein's alleged sex trafficking ring "hiding in plain sight in the least likely place imaginable—a fast-food joint in Los Angeles." Maxwell reportedly dined Monday at an In-N-Out Burger while reading Ted Gup's bestseller The Book of Honor: The Secret Lives and Deaths of CIA Operatives, reports the Post, which has what it claims are the first photos of Maxwell in public since 2016. "Well, I guess this is the last time I'll be eating here!" the 57-year-old reportedly told an onlooker.
It's unclear where Maxwell went from there, but Business Insider reports the In-N-Out location had become "a niche attraction" by Thursday, with visitors snapping photos of the very table at which Maxwell sat. The British-born socialite wasn't named in the July indictment that claimed Epstein's associates and employees facilitated sexual encounters, but she has been named in an alleged victim's newly filed lawsuit.
